THE MAGNIFICENT RINCON VALLEY

Looking out of the many windows in the Villas or sitting on the patio, you will see the 8,400 feet high Rincon Peak and the lovely hills and valleys that surround it. The sunrises and sunsets are very special here. The Sonoran desert is one of the most beautiful in the world because the summer monsoon rains support many varieties of trees, shrubs, birds and animals.  Animals peek into the back patios, an amazing variety of birds are ever present, and the astounding cactus flowers bloom often.

Close by is the Saguaro National Park with its stunning saguaros and other cacti. Nearby Colossal Cave is a treat for visiting children and adults.

TUCSON

Arizona’s second largest city, with a population close to one million, still has the appeal and accessibility of a smaller city.

Tucson’s museums include:

Cultural activities are extensive and includes groups such as:

Dining out in Tucson is very special these days.  Many interesting and excellent restaurants operate in Tucson. The city has very recently been designated “the best ‘under-the-radar’ food city in America” by Wine Enthusiast magazine.  It is also the only city in the United States to be designated a “World City of Gastronomy” by UNESCO.
